How else can I make sense of part of my experience except to say that I discover myself, or that there is an aspect of me that simply is?
At the moment my time horizon is short, and the longer view is decidedly fluid. I feel that I am in a place where I just need to go step by step, and this can have a heavy and plodding feel.
There is a dogma that says, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. I think the reality is that what doesn’t kill you can leave you maimed.
What characterises my experience of boredom is this mix: energy and lethargy, desiring something but not being sure what it is.
Living in the here and now brings liveliness. So what about reminiscing? Is this living in the past instead of the here and now?
