Hi Jean,

Good mission. I lived in Cairns for a little while where getting eaten by a croc was possible. Thanks for your comment.

I suppose some of my core values are expressed in my last two posts: The Joy of Climbing and The Joy of Being Involved. And, of course, my mission in life is to avoid being eaten by a crocodile. ;)

Thanks Diane for a beautiful comment. A few years ago my partner and I wrote a book whose subtitle was: living from the core of who you are for lasting satisfaction. I very much agree with what you say about our core. I also resonate very much with what you say about compassion. Thank you for your heartfelt comment.

Hi Evan!

Compassion as a core value now that I do resonate with entirely. Only to me compassion has a essence of love, honor and dignity for self and others. All that is done in life comes from this heart space inside. Not one thing really can be seperate from this essential essence. Even the mundane and normal responsible nescessity of our lives never exist without this presence that is our core. I think when you try and seperate it out you just lose and essential part of who you are at all times. If you know what I mean?
